Here are a few of the blogs I love. I'm finding myself adding to them all the time but in the meantime, here are some of my recommendations , in no particular order. I hope you enjoy them!
http://www.girlsinthegarden.blogspot.com/ This is the personal blog of Lori who used to do the Sew Forth Now podcast which sadly seems to be no more. She makes a tonne of stuff for both her, her daughters and now her grandson.
http://www.shimelle.com/ Shimelle Laine is well known in the scrapbooking world for her great blog, classes and talent. Even if her style isn't totally your thing, you can still gain an awful lot from what she has to say and adapt it to fit in with your own.
http://www.tillyandthebuttons.com/ Known to a lot of people from the first series of the Great British Sewing Bee, Tilly has really come into her own in the sewing world. She keeps up updated with what she's up to, what she's sewing, and has interviews. You can also get hold of her patterns for things like the top she started making on the programme, and a skirt.
www.craftsy.com/blog Many of you will know that Craftsy has some fabulous online classes in all sorts of crafty areas including sewing, knitting, photography and baking. I tend to go through this on my feed as regularly as I can as they post a lot and if you're not interested in some of the posts, it can really build up. I wish there was a way to just select the subjects you would like to receive posts on but so far, I haven't found a way. Having said that, the ones I do read are fun and informative.
www.blogforbettersewing.com Gertie is pretty well known in the sewing blog world for the amazing vintage inspired creations she makes, plus all the fantastic tips. Well worth a follow!
